Racism iz still alive everywhere......even in music....!?

In this new generation i think that music iz the main language and itz the only thing we can't live without......

Since 1960s when malcom x and martin luther king has fought 4 freedom as black people and 4 the black community 2 gain their rights.....but racism has reached till music.I think that there are certain kind of musics we seperate them and call them "black music"and "white music"......Letz have an exaple.Hiphop(mainly rap).When it first started it was 4 blacks only cause i think they had the rights 2 do so....but as the years goes on racism has decreased which means that it has been okay 4 white people 2 listen2 rap music..(I'm talkin' 'bout rap musics which contains violence and strict lyrics just like NWA not beastie boyz).But i saw what i saw.....some of the white people are still saying that"no,we don't have 2 listen 2 rap music as it contains voilence and explict lyrics...U are absoloutely right...but don't forget that some of the rappers are rapping 'bout the ghetto....

No this not true for example I'm white and I don't live in a ghetto and I like rap and it's my favourite music and so are they most of my friends. I hate POP music and maybe the only 2 pop musicien that I heart are Stevie wonder and No-Yo : they are 2 black I think racism dose not exist any more

Um.. yeah, I really had a hard time reading your question.. Racism is everywhere, music, movies, books.. They're all just subtle. It'll never end.. there's always haters. If they don't like the music, it's not racism, maybe they just don't like the whole beat thing, or the lyrics? It makes no sense to automatically accuse them for being racist for not liking the rap genre. Nothing wrong with rap, rap is down.. rap on. =)
Have you ever been to a rap concert? There is always more white people than black people when I go! And it is a known fact that white people buy more rap albums than black people do. Just because they don't always say they (white people) listen to it does not mean they are not listening to it. Kinda like how no-one openly admits to watching porn, but someone is watching it right? Have you ever seen the movie office space?

That being said, these days more white people are openly listening to rap music and I think its a great thing.
