Music complexity question?

There are a lot of people who are already know that Beethoven, Bach and Mozart were not simply composing musicians, in a fact that their music was very complex. When they wrote their masterpieces, they took in mind how every individual music note will affect the listener. As a result, they had to have the perfect tempo, and just the right note at the right place. What this does, is, when you listen to Mozart, you suddenly feel happier, without knowing why. This kind of music effects your subconsciousness, and every cell of your body. It produces an effect greater than any modern songs. Does anyone have a link where I can read about the specific songs and what effects they will produce?

I haven't found any source so detailed, but here is some.

* about tempo...

how tempo effectting the listener.

Depends on the listener's modality (sensitivity of senses), auditorial to be exact; and the listener's conciusnes to the audio surrounds him/her.

Tempo will effect hertbeat, that pumps blood to brain, and that means supply Oxygen that will effect the brain activity called the brain wave, wich certain frequency will be apropriate to do some activity.

When studying the best tempo was about 60 - 80 beat per minute, wich means the same tempo of Heart beat and brain wave called the Alpha wave.

* About genre and instrumen...

I've reed a Religion book , a Christian music, wich said that they've made a test on a plant and made a conclusion that some music genre and instrument and even the musician aura have effect on the surrounding.

I quite agree about this, but i can't proof theoritically.

I do believe that when a person have a strong intention, other could notice just by his/her aura.

* about feeling effect...

well, 1 thing i know and believe about how music effect one's feeling, is purely by suggestion, or by experience.

ex. on food: parents teach their child to finished their food by giving candy/ice cream after as prize, and contrary scholding with a chilly whn they didn't finished, the children will get doctrinize, in future when they eat sweat stuff they will feel happy as praised/prized and contrary getting sad when having chilly.

this for now.

Hope this help.

Bless You

You are probably thinking of the Mozart effect. I'm having a flashback to music history but it was believed that music could have a positive or negative impact on a person .
I'm not sure about websites, but i can suggest the book "Music The Art of Listening" by Jean Ferris - i believe it's published by Mcgraw Hill. The book includes an accompanied 4 cd set for listening to the examples coverd in the book, and it's very interesting and covers quite a bit of the classical period you speak of, gives insight to a lot of the things you are thinking of. I was given my copy by a friend who found it at a yard sale , the cd set was unopened. check your local bookstore if needed.
